Andy Morgan, MAED is the CEO of AZ Mindcare, where he leads day-to-day operations with a focus on ensuring client satisfaction and responsiveness to the community’s needs. Before joining AZ Mindcare, Andy dedicated nearly two decades to public education. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Arizona State University in 2005 and a Master’s in Educational Leadership from Grand Canyon University in 2014. Throughout his career as a teacher and administrator, Andy witnessed firsthand how trauma and stress impact mental health and disrupt lives. The challenges brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic, coupled with a growing shortage of mental health resources, motivated him to make a significant career shift and contribute to the solution.
Having served as a school principal, Andy is no stranger to the mental health challenges many face. He considers himself fortunate to have found guidance and support in navigating his own mental health journey. As a parent, he understands the difficulties in accessing quality mental health care from consistent providers, as well as the time and financial burdens that complicate efforts to seek effective treatment. These experiences have deepened his commitment to improving access to mental health care through his work at AZ Mindcare.
A native Arizonan, Andy enjoys spending time outdoors with his wife and two adult sons, as well as traveling. He is a passionate sports fan, cheering for his hometown teams—the Cardinals, Suns, and D-backs. In his free time, Andy loves playing soccer, bowling, fishing, and exercising. An avid animal lover, he shares his home with three dogs and two cats.
